Hi! My boyfriend (33) and I (37) are planning a mid range budget 3 week island/beach holiday in southern Thailand in March. We both enjoy hiking, swimming, snorkelling, natural landscapes, markets and good food. We do not like huge crowds or parties. After 50 hours of research we have come up with the below itinerary.
Day 10 looks weird because the Khao Sok tour on Day 9 finishes at 3pm and I cant work out how to get to Koh Lanta in the afternoon, so Krabi is an overnight stopover.
Would really appreciate any advice, but our main concerns are (1) are we trying to do too much in too little time? (2) are we spending too much time on Lanta + Trang islands? Will it get boring? (3) One day in Krabi — anyway around this?
Day 1-2 Bangkok
Day 3-7 Khao lak
Day 8-9 Khao Sok
Day 10 Krabi
Day 11-16 Koh Lanta
Day 17-19 Koh Muk (mook)
Day 20-21 Koh Kraden
Day 22 – Back to Bangkok and then home
