I am in the very fortunate position of having two or three ‘spare days’ in our trip in the Western Cape and was wondering whether I had time to venture into the Garden Route. Hope so!
We will have spent 3 nights in Simons Town, plan to spend one or two nights in De Kelders (we are holidaying at the end of August so hope to see some whales). Then comes my two or three spare nights in ???, followed by two nights which are booked for some chill time in Franschhoek before we go fly home to the UK. Prior to that we will have been to the Kruger National Park. We love wildlife and beautiful scenery.
Do you think we could go to Kynsna in these spare days? If so, which routes would you recommend – firstly from De Kelders to Kynsna and then from Kynsna to Franschhoek? I have bought a map book but need some help with preferred routes if you would be so kind!
f you think we might be pushing it, do you have any other suggestions for where to go in these 2 or 3 spare days.
Finally, I keep saying 2 or 3 spare days because I can’t decide whether to spend 1 or 2 nights in De Kelders so that’s another thing I would love help with.
Sorry to ask for so much guidance!
Very many thanks
